Open Lab: Urban Climate

Visitors work with researchers on practical questions of heat adaptation. The lab is open all afternoon – drop in whenever suits you.

Three stations

Heat map

Where in your neighborhood does summer become unbearable? Mark places on a large city map and compare them with satellite data.

Weather station

Learn how temperature, humidity and surface heat are measured, and read the live values from the lab’s rooftop.

Idea wall

Shade, drinking fountains, green courtyards: which measures would help you? The suggestions feed into the research project.

No registration required. The lab is step-free.
